PurpleRock Digital Marketing Manager | Job Description

 

PurpleRock Capital is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to oversee all aspects related to social media, email and the e-Commerce website for one of the brands in the PurpleRock portfolio. This position is based out of our Orlando office.

A prime candidate for this role should have previous direct to consumer marketing experience, be adept at building and maintaining successful initiatives with consumers across a variety of outlets within a fast-paced business environment and be extremely detail oriented.  They will also be someone that has strong analytical skills and enjoys learning new things.

 

What You’ll Do

Brand Management:

  • Develop content calendar that will drive social, email and website campaigns throughout the year
  • Manage external resources to help with design, copy, SEO/paid media, photography or development needs
  • Create business briefs and manage timelines and expectations with contractors

Website & PPC Management:

  • Utilize website CMS to update content for products, blogs and new pages
  • Brainstorm promotional strategies to drive sales and conversions
  • Oversee paid media for Google and Facebook and SEO strategy
  • Manage review generation campaigns
  • Analyze and report on monthly sales and traffic acquisition

Email Marketing:

  • Build and deploy promotional email campaigns
  • Proofread emails for clarity, grammar and spelling
  • Manage resources to assist with design and functionality of emails if needed
  • Create workflows that trigger throughout the customer lifecycle to maximize sales (welcome series, win back, browse abandonment)
  • Manage segmentation of database
  • Brainstorm and test lead generation strategies to increase subscriber base
  • Analyze and report on campaign performance and monthly subscriber metrics
  • Ensure emails follow industry standards and best practices

Social Media Marketing:

  • Oversee social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest
  • Monitor and respond to messages and comments in a timely manner
  • Utilize proper voice and tone with messaging
  • Create and post engaging content
  • Scout out influencers for collaboration to increase brand awareness
  • Brainstorm ways to increase user generated content to share and promote
  • Analyze and report on monthly follower metrics

 

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in developing detailed project plans that earned results
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a leadership position of managing multiple individuals
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; organizational and time management skills
  • Proven collaborative leadership style with effective negotiation, interpersonal and partnering skills
  • Demonstrated analysis/assessment capabilities
  • Fundamental knowledge of digital marketing and e-commerce
  • Strong written, verbal and listening communication skills
  • PMP certification is desirable
  • 1-2 year’s Amazon selling experience is a plus

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
